Tourmaline: Throw

Dazzling tones of aqua abound in this large, lightweight throw.   It's made with 1/2 woven brocade saree and 1/2 pure silk printed saree and embellished with a thick coil, hand-spun, multi-color yarn.   Ends are finished with Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of saree silk created by the felting process.   

Measures 52 x 87" and is backed with light gray merino felt.

Because I use repurposed sarees, and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
