Spellbound: Throw

Created with pure silk printed sarees and dark gray superfine merino wool backing for a rich palette of teal, green, and gray with pops of gold throughout.  Ends are finished with Stellar Manos Del Uruguay silk and sides have ruffled edges of saree silk created by the felting process.   

Measures 50 x 84" and is backed with dark grey merino felt.  

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
