Serenade: Throw

This throw is a visual and tactile serenade.  The woolen and pure silk printed sarees meld together with the dusty purple backing, using a soft green hand-spun yarn, ready to wrap you in dulcet tones.   Ends are finished with Aurora Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of saree silk created by the felting process.   

Measures 50 x 80" and is backed with soft earth toned merino wool.  

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees, and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
