Sanguine: Throw

Sanguine is made with pure silk printed sarees and Sara's colorful, locky, handspun yarn.  Both the color palette and textures make a relaxing companion for the couch or end of your bed.   Ends are finished with Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of saree silk created by the felting process.   

Measures 44 x 75" and is backed with soft, muted pink merino wool.  This throw is an average relative weight at 10.38 ounce per square yard.  

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees, and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
