Retreat: Throw

I can't think of a better place to be on a day or rest than under this heavy soft throw.  It's made with woven wool sarees and pure silk printed saree on a shell pink merino wool backing and hand spun coordinating yarn.   Ends are finished with Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of sarees created by the felting process. 

Measures 48 x 68" and is backed with soft pink merino wool.  

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees, and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
