Red Thread: Throw

Red Thread was made on our house blend and carded teal, silk and merino prefelt.  The sarees are especially high quality silk brocade giving the over all blanket a very heavy and substantial color and feel.  A red thread of handspun locks runs the length of the throw.  

Measures 51 x 63" backed by a house made teal silk and merino wool prefelt.

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees, and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
