Petals: Mother and Baby Kindred Set

I created the Kindred Throw Set, cut from the same cloth, for your soulmate, best friend, twin, sister, partner, or anyone who shares two hearts, to enjoy near or far. The set includes two blankets made with the same sarees and super fine merino wool backing.

Mother and baby sets are also designed from the same sarees.  The baby blanket is made on superfine merino wool and silk mix backing, making a lightweight and very soft blanket with good drape.  Wool and silk are naturally fire resistant and antimicrobial; no better comfort than natural materials.  

The Petals set is made with pure silk printed sarees, woven fine wool saree. and soft superfine merino single ply yarn embellishment.   Ends are finished with Olivewood Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of the saree created by the felting process.   

Baby measures 37 x 44" and is backed with natural merino/silk felt. 

Mother measures 44 x 77" and is backed with natural merino wool. 

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
