Lady of the Lake: Throw

Lady of the Lake throw is made with 1/2 woven brocade saree and 1/2 pure silk printed saree  on dark gray merino felt backing to create a deep teal.   Ends are finished with Deep Sea Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of saree silk created by the felting process.   

Large throw measures 51 x 87" and is backed with soft grey merino felt.  

Every Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textile is made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
