Crete and Athena: Kindred Throws

I created the Kindred Throw Set, cut from the same cloth, for your soulmate, best friend, twin, sister, partner, or anyone who shares two hearts, to enjoy near or far. The set includes two blankets made with the same sarees and super fine merino wool backing.

Crete and Athena offer earth tones with deep pops of color. They are made with pure silk printed sarees to create bouncing colors and textures throughout.  Ends are finished with Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of saree silk created by the felting process.  It all adds up to pleasing tones and textures ready for your home decor.

Crete measures 47 x 78" and Athena measures 50 x 75" with each backed by deep gray merino felt.

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
