Green Tea: Throw

Green Tea throw is made with 2/3 woven brocade saree and 1/3 pure silk printed saree to create vibrance and detail in a heavier weight throw.  Sara's hand-spun yarn embellishes and coordinates.   Ends are finished with Pheasant Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of saree silk created by the felting process.   

Measures 46 x 78" and is backed with soft toned pink merino wool.  

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees, and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
