Dream State: Kindred Throws

I created the Kindred Throw Set, cut from the same cloth, for your soulmate, best friend, twin, sister, partner, or anyone who shares two hearts, to enjoy near or far. The set includes two blankets made with the same sarees and super fine merino wool backing.

Dream State Throws are soft and heavy made with layered woven woolen saree and pure silk printed saree to create soft pebbled textures and soothing colors throughout.   Ends are finished with Marziban Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides are ruffled saree edges created by the felting process.   

One measures 47 x 70" and the other 45 x 70" and is backed with muted light pink merino felt.  

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
