Boudoir: Throw

Boudoir Throw is created with two different fully brocade woven silk sarees backed with dark gray felt held together by the felting process.  Ends are finished with Gondola Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of saree silk created by the felting process.   The dark gray backing and plum and chocolate tones of the sarees are backdrop to pops of soft pink and gold.  

Large throw measures 54 x 86" and is backed with earth toned merino felt.  

Every Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textile is made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers.  Because I use repurposed sarees and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
