Bazaar: Throw

Bazaar is a colorful and lightweight throw made with pure silk sarees in bold and colorful print.   Ends are finished with Olivewood Manos Del Uruguay silk and wool yarn and sides have ruffled edges of saree silk created by the felting process.   The throw is further embellished with Sara's chunky hand-spun yarn.  

Measures 55 x 82" and is backed with light gray merino felt.  

Cosset & Lock Silk and Wool Textiles are made using a unique process of felting to marry together the strength, beauty, and qualities of silk and wool natural fibers. Because I use repurposed sarees, and due to the handmade process, every blanket has unique characteristics and distinctive occurrences.
